Dad isn't quite sure what to make of... the signals.
It's undeniably a good thing if everyone on that comm is what they say they are. But if it's a trap (Spoiler warning: Too elaborate to be a trap, don'cha think?) he doesn't want to risk himself. Fair enough. He's the Colonel, and needed more than his guinea pig.
Sara's too green, Keenan... is a fuckup, and Anna needs to shore up the defenses here. That leaves me to chart the possible paths to other worlds, and to greet visitors.
