I saw Two demons, NO JOKE

Dec 02, 2007 02:57

So two days ago I'm sleeping by myself because Josh sleeps on the couch and he's moving blahblah whatever, I was on the bed alone. I just had surgery on monday so I'm still taking the vicodin they prescribed me, but I have now started to only take half of one. Well around 4am I feel someone tap my shoulder a few times. I'm kinda annoyed because i ( Read more... )

Yeah I'm fine I just have too many unanswered questions. I mean I stopped believing in God when I was about 6 or 7 and recently with current events I started to believe in God mildy because i started to pray and pray for someone's life and yet they still passed. I'm stuck in kind of a limbo now because i do believe in evil and good, but god and the devil? Not sure. But I believe in evil spirits so i'm a whole bunch of confused.

But I'm not scared anymore, I just know I was SUPPOSED to see them. Like I was either supposed to listen and know what they said, or seeing them was supposed to make me search for something or figure out the reason. I can't remember what they said and still confused if I KNEW at the time and that's why i got scared and freaked, or if their language was a blur the whole time. You know like in movies they get told something but it changes their life and they never really remember the answer they were told, maybe something like that. They seriously werent going to hurt me and i knew that.

ha this is weird talking about bc ppl think youre crazy if you say you see demons, but they dont think you're as crazy if you say they're ghosts. But everyday i'm trying to figure out what it meant.

If you can see demons and know them for what they are, how can you question the existence of God? This strikes me very profoundly that this happened and you wrote about it here. You see, I just started reading The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis last night. It is basically a fictional correspondence between two demons about their plans and plots to keep humans under their control.
You wonder why they would be at the end of your bed last night? You said that you had just started to believe in God mildly and started prying lately. What would a demon want more than to keep you from thinking about God and praying?
You think the tapping might have been to wake you up so you would see them, and I think you may be right. Just remember that if there are demons around us, there are also angels watching over also. I agree that praying about it is probably the best way to handle it, and I also will be praying for you.

weird. I didnt know you believed in god.
And when I was little my grandma used to always tell me that she felt I was supposed to change the world. Not like most parents do like, 'my kid is going to be something great.' Like she felt that I was SOMETHING spiritually and when I stopped believing in god she always worried that maybe I was meant for something bad. Creepy right? She used to tell me that one of these days i'm going to believe and that i'm going to make a difference. I always told her I was too smart to believe.

I'm someone that unless it's written in facts and proven, I dont believe... that's why i see demons yet don't believe... I guess i'd just rather live my life then worry about it? I found so many flaws in the bible that i just wrote it all off as stories.

Im just full of surprises. :p
I could spout scientific laws that prove that there IS a Creator, but I learned a long time ago that you cant argue with someone to make them believe in God. They just have to believe in it when they are ready to. Thats why it is called faith. ;-p
Screwtape Letters is great, but I wouldnt totally give up on Good Omens. It cracks me up every time I read it (James actually gave it to me to read).

Also, as much as I cant stand Keanu Reeves, watch Constantine or read the comics. In the stories, hell is actually part of earth, its just on a different plain of existence than we humans are. Angels and demons can go back and forth between these plains and so can some humans, like Constantine.
