You know, I often think that. Like, sure, if given the opportunity, I'd be all over that! Brendon seems like the perfect guy to get down and dirty at a party with, but then geek out over musicals and video games and stuff the next day. (okay, that sound sluttier than I intended it to. But you did get what I meant, right?) But tbh with you, I look at him and think: shit, he'd be the best guy to hang out with, like, in bff terms speaking. Like, I really wish I'd gone to high school with him, bc he seems like that much fun.

Also. And this will sound dangerously biased. I think Brendon is way smarter than he lets on. The dude is basically the world's biggest music geek, no way someone like that is all hyperactivity, drinking, bro-ing around like he tries so hard to be seen as (that is not to say he isn't all of those thigs, of course). I wish he'd let his ~smart show more often. =/

...I guess that was a very long, babbling way of agreeing with you. Beer + music talk with B. Urie = life made.

(...dude. I FEEL BAD FOR THE GUY. Like, it's JUST SAD that he thinks he can actually sing. It's just embarrassing. D: )

Yes! I was a total outcast/band geek in high school, so it doesn't compute to me that people wouldn't think he was totally awesome lol. (Yeah, I'm ridiculously biased, I know.) I totally get what you meant (actually I flailed a little and went "GET OUT OF MY HEAD OMGOODNESS!!!!!!!"). I'd still tap that, but if I had to choose one option, I'd rather dork out with him xD (I sound like such a fangirl *facepalm*)

The biased being biased with the biased. He does seem really sneaky smart though! There was a behind the scenes thing for some photo shoot with Rocksound I think, and he's talking about NITA, and starts rambling on about music theory, and how the song is a basic 1 4 5 (or 1345, I can't remember) progression in C major. Honestly, my face went from :) to o.0 to :O to ♥__♥ . Then there was the time he tweeted a link to a youtube video about string theory or some other really complicated theoretical form of physics. He's definitely not some suburban kid who learned three chords on a guitar and decided that was good enough to play music.

http://www.rocksound.tv/tv/article/panic-at-the-disco << That's the video I was talking about. I just watched it again and made some embarrassing squealing sounds, because seriously. Seriously?! His existence baffles me sometimes (baffles in a good way).

I will stop now before I get even more embarrassing xD.

Prepare yourself, for the most biased, deluded, fangirl-like remark is about to made:

Not only do I agree with your entire first paragraph, but I also think Brendon and I would've been bffs in high school. Not in that 'I UNDERSTAND HIM THE WAY HIS SCHOOL-MATES DIDN'T, OKAY!', because it's him, or something. I'd be bffs with him NOW because he is him ('him' meaning: insanely talented, funny, sneaky!smart, super-into-sports and fun-lover).
I'd want to be his best friend in high school because he always says he was the hyper, weird kid no one wanted to be friends with, and.. dude. I was so drawn to the weirdest characters in high school (wtf. I still am. LOL), that Brendon, oh-so-eager to please all the time, so desperate for affection and friendship and being the outcast/musical prodigy that he was would have DEFINITELY gotten my attention.
(needless to say, I'd also have the world's most pathetic crush on him. LOL.)

YES. I dont know whether I'm all 'awwwn...' at him being sneaky smart or super pissed at him for not flauting it. Personal canon of mine? Brendon ACED high school math/physics.
Btw, thanks for the link! We'll watch that interview asap.
There's also this other interview (the one he goes all 'yes, yes. EXACTLY!' all the time), the interviewer asks him what was the one question he wished he was asked during interviews and he says 'music theory!', and he goes on, talking about chord progression and beautiful musical things I know nothing about. ♥

Dude. Never stop. Brendon deserves all the gushing on the planet. LOL.
