'Tis the season!

I'm doing that christmas meme too! :D

STEP ONE

- Make a post (public, locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that the holiday joy will spread.
.

STEP TWO

- Surf around your reading list/friendslist/dreamroll (or friendsfriends/network, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call. There are no guarantees with this project, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
.

1. Postcards! I want to see where you live, what the best features of your town/country is. Send me postcards of your favorite places or just places you'd like to visit! Spam me with the postcards people. (And if they include personal stories, like "I got my first kiss under that tree"; "I went there on my first school trip"; "I once saw a dead cow on that highway" it'll be awesome!)

2. Letters. Dudes and dudettes, I'm a sucker for getting mail. WRITE ME LETTERS, PEOPLE. =DDD

3. Homemade bracelets. I love collecting those (and if making them is too much effort, dude. If you buy them it's not like I'll ever know. >.>)!

4. Candy. Don't let this super mature/serious façade trick you *COUGHCOUGH*. Deep inside me lives a five year old who's a candy addict. :D?

5. Mixtapes. I love discovering new music, so if you're so inclined... you could burn me a cd with all the songs you think I'd love and send it to me? =]

6. Frank's fingerless gloves. Shit, I've looked everywhere and I can never really find the ones he used to wear back in the day. T___T

7. Gerard's skeleton pjs! (I mean, not his. I bet it didn't really disappear. The other guys probably just burned that shit, because it smelled like a dead animal)

8. Drawings/cartoons. Comics? Anything spooky/funny.

9. Keychains. Something else I love to collect.

10. Serial killer fics. I've been craving a Serial-Killer!Brendon or Serial-Killer!Gerard/Frank for ages!
