You're all alone
yet no one knows
no one sees the sorrow and pain you go through
each passing day
is like a walk through hell
you wake up every morning
only hoping for another slumber
and as time grows
your beauty fades away
you become that colorful picture
turned to grey
what happened to your pride
what happened to your happiness
it all washed away when you gave your soul to the devil....

Can't you see yourself falling?
Falling slowly down into darkness
Cant you see yourself lying?
Each day you tell yourself made up stories you only wish to be true
only as the days unfold
and you grow old
you'll realize what's right for you
but not soon enough
before you're shrouded in the doom of your own stupidity...

Look up to the sun
embrace the light
Look forward to the moon
take in the darkness
make sure never to be fooled
by the illusion of happiness
life can grasp your strength in a heartbeat

I never thought of life
as something that goes by quick
the time when that blade hits your pale flesh
and the crimson pours out
and that's all you see
you're blinded by the scars of things once fragile
and you can't let go of what you've been through
All you want is to have the dreams come true
and have the reality of life pause
so that you can collect your memories
and be happy for once in your life
and then I look at myself long and hard
and all I see is death
it seeps into my every pour
and devours me in all that is wrong in this world
and I fight to break free from
every day insanity
just to stay alive
my heartbeat races with the pace of time
and all I see now is the glimpse of the future
what my life beholds
if only I can grasp it with my faith, hope and love
Needing and wanting and yearning for the scars to disappear
and to have everything that's dear to you
right by your side
and then I ask you
how often do we get what we wish for..?
what we bleed every night for..?
why we slave every day and put up with the chaos
that is the epitome of the horrid Earth
and life soon passes in the nick of time
and you rot away....
not ever living the life you wished for...
cried for....
burned for.....
So take a moment to look at what's right...
Just breathe..
Focus..

So true and pure,
a heart of gold

because it's sacred, carved into my memory
of perpetual bliss and mixed emotions of love and joy
