Ok bitches listen up. This entry is going to be detailing the best fucking news I've gotten in my entire life. So I want some damn comments. Dead serious. Also, don't even think about any sarcastic or negative ones. I will hunt you down and kick your ass.

So. I get emails as Arts & Society Editor. Many emails. Promotional emails, etc.
I get a lot of information about upcoming tours for bands.
For the most part, I ignore them. They're tour schedules, cool. Sometimes at the bottom of the email, they have "for questions and interview inquires, contact bla bla bla" which I usually ignore too.
The email I got yesterday had the same sort of deal with the upcoming Otep tour, except without the thing at the bottom of the email. I decided to take a long shot that would never happen and email them. Let me show you the series of emails:

I recently recieved your email with the details of the
Otep/Hellyeah/Bloodsimple tour. I was wondering if there would be an
opportunity to interview any of the bands when they come to Ram's Head Live
in Baltimore, Maryland. I am particularly interested in interviewing Otep
because I am the Arts and Society editor for Loyola College's school
newspaper, The Greyhound and we have run a concert review on the band
before; it recieved a lot of interest. I'd appreciate any information you
could give me. Thank you,

Here's what I got back. I screamed when I read it. Seriously. I started shaking and yelped in the student center. I wanted to post the news right then and there, but I decided to wait to make sure it was really going to happen:
Hey Laila,
This is Chris from Maria's office. I received your message about setting up
interviews with HELLYEAH and OTEP for their show on 12/5 at the Ram's Head
in Baltimore.
Did you want to set up phone interviews with the bands to preview the show?
Or were you interested in attending the show and doing in-person interviews?
Let me know what you'd like to do and we'll make it happen.

We don't have tour manager info for OTEP yet. When it comes in, I'll get it
