spn_j2_bigbang art: They Stumble That Run Fast
Oh God, I'm DONE!
I had so much fun working with this, and you all need to run and read crackedbuthappy's fic RIGHT NOW, because it's awesome!

It has Shakespeare, Latin, Jensen in glasses, adorkable Jared, a Cyrano twist and MISHA! It's funny and adorable and contains enough geekery to make me squee for hours! And I got to make art for it! \o/
Like last year, I couldn't decide on one thing, so you get a little bit of everything, including a paper doll.

The one thing crackedbuthappy asked for was a Jensen in glasses manip, so of course I had to do that! Because Jensen in glasses - YUM. And the Misha picture... was looking for one that would fit for ages, and had great help from crackedbuthappy (thank you!), but then found this one in my camera! It's great when I can be my own resource! (in the background, illustrations for A Midsummernight's Dream, Hamlet and The Tempest from here)

I also wanted to draw something (because I almost always do, especially when it comes to these guys), so I decided to make a J2 version of one of the old illustrations I found when looking for Shakespearian things for the wallpaper. So, I kind of made a pastiche of this illustration from A Midsummer Night's Dream, but here with Jared and Jensen in one of the later scenes in the fic (you'll know which scene when you read it - it's the one that gives you an instant geek-gasm).

And THEN, there is MISHA! Misha of the ever-changing majors, outfits and fits of craziness. I just had to make something special with him, so here it is: THE MISHA PAPER DOLL!

If you, like me, want to print him out and play with him and all his little outfits, you can download a pdf here (MU) or here (sendspace) and print everything out in the right size without having to worry about what will fit on to what page. Just make sure to set the printer setting to "No scaling" and all the clothes should fit!
