paper plates and forks
so i thought of making this the first friends only post but you people know everything already! the only thing i could bitch about is what is on everyone elses mind too! if you're not sure what i'm talking about...could it be about you?!?!? haha, i'm not trying to make anyone paranoid, just being humorous.
yesterday in drawing was almost cool b/c we need to draw somewhere in the fine arts building using two point perspective so of course tara and i hid far far away. we ended up on the lower level under a stairwell (hello...soulmate!) laughing uncontrolably at the idea of being under-the-stair trolls. last night was sex and the city night, i must bring my tapes up and show miss diana cause she didn't start watching until it started airing on tbs. today i had to drop off my portfolio for my writing requirment for graduation, however, i still seem to be working on the paper... never call me lazy... i had lunch w/ joanna in the union where we found mihal (crazy name, can't spell it) and had lunch with him as well. went to sign language at 2:00 where we played charades...it was interesting. anthro and senior sem were canceled today so i actually did some reading. tonight i meandered and was lazy then joanna, diana, tara and i watched finding neverland. cute movie, creepy lil kid.
ooohhhh, i learned a curse word in sign language this week! careful how you say breakfast!
i have come up with an article idea for the stroud courier that is oh-so-me and oh-so-brilliant. the arts and entertainment section is always asking for restaurant reviews and such so i have decided an article about where to get the best cup of coffe in the east stroudsburg area is a good idea. i have enlisted tara and joanna's help. i have this weekend and next week to run around and drink yummy coffee then write all about it! hooray!
finding a real job is difficult. i've sent a bunch of resumes and cover letters to a bunch of places, i've really lost track. and i've gotten lazy in my cover letter writing. there are no jobs for an aspiring journalist/editor/publisher/copy writer/ANYTHING! too bad i didn't know that four years ago... everywhere is looking for accountants/legal stuff/sales and marketing. technically i could look like a sales/marketing person cause of all the retail junk but why would i want to do that? i had e-mail issues a week ago but i've resolved them and got back in contact w/ the concerts east guy again after missing my first chance but haven't heard back from him about my second attempt to make an appointment to meet up. either way, it's an unpaid internship...but it's concerts east so who cares? and i'll probably end up back at lindt as well which is okay cause i like it there. so to outline my plan for after graduation...it's work part time at lindt, possibly intern, either way, continue to seek real job. come this time next year that's still what i'm doing it's time for a new plan. there is an ultimate plan i've conspired on with tara, a few of them actually, but i don't want to get ahead of myself. :o)
