A few more days until Christmas, huh? This is kind of exciting, though I'm not exactly sure what I'm excited about.
Every time I look at these decorations, I'm always reminded of the holidays I spent with my parents. It would always just be the three of us gathered around a massive Christmas tree we decorated. On Christmas Eve, we would chatter and play games until I fall asleep. Dad would carry me back to my room, and when the sun rises, I would always run downstairs to open my presents. It was fun, and I'm glad I still have those memories to comfort me, though I still wish I was able to appreciate those times before. I took so many things for granted... ah, well.
How is everyone's vacation going? Great, I hope. Oh, I still have to work on wrapping these presents!
