[Nagi doesn't trust this turkey. Anything the town gives him can't be good, but he'll inspect it anyway. Inspecting before eating is a perfectly reasonable thing to do when Mayfield's involved. [Miakis was chillin' in another room when Nagi's turkey arrived, but the screaming is enough to send her running. She gasps at the sight of his burns and frowns at him; he might notice that the rune on her left hand is already beginning to glow. Mommy's gonna heal you, kiddo, whether you like it or not. B| ]

Nagi? What happened?

[He was about to poke at one of the other turkeys when he hears Nagi screaming. Well that's a familiar sound...]

What the...Nagi! [He knows that smell too. It may be weird, but HC acid does have a smell]

Acid?! We have to get it off his skin!

[He has his eyes closed so nothing got in them, meaning he doesn't notice Miakis's glowing hand. Nagi reaches out for one of them, since they're the only options to not die or be maimed right now and that sorta sucks.]

Shower, then healing.

[Congrats, Ken. It's the second time in a week and a half you get to help Nagi to the bathroom.]

Acid? But... [This didn't happen on Thanksgiving last year, what the hell. Miakis isn't about to start fretting about that right now, though, and she shakes her head.]

Wait, wait -- I don't like the way those burns look. Healing first.

[She doesn't wait for either of them to agree and begins chanting the spell for Healing Wind as fast as she can can. Nagi will feel a cool breeze rustling his hair and clothing as she works her magic, and the pain should die down some once the spell is done. It'll keep the damage from killing him, at least, but he'll still want to take that shower to wash the acid off.]

I'll take him upstairs if you can keep his pain down. [Thankfully one of those nice thick fifties coats was tossed over a chair and he wraps it around the boy to haul his ass up and not get damaged himself.

Ken has forethought. Who would have thunk it.]

[The healing eases up some of the pain, but Nagi's still clenching his jaw to keep from crying or screaming again. He winces again as the coat brushes some of the burns.]

...thanks. Both of you.

[Yes, you heard that right. He'll go quiet again as he heads upstairs, using his power to rip his clothes so they can be thrown out.]

[Miakis blinks, feeling more than a little stunned by the bizarre show of gratitude, but she doesn't comment on it. There is a small pleased smile on her face, however.]

Mmhmm. Go wash off that acid, quickly. I'll patch you up when you're done~

[He makes sure that Nagi gets under the cold water spray properly before going to throw out that coat. Best not to take chances. He heard Nagi's comment but just smiled at the boy.]

[And now there is a naked Nagi in the shower. He closes the curtain, making sure to rinse himself off thoroughly. Acid really really hurts, dammit. He'll need more healing, if Miakis can cast the spell through the curtain or something.]

[Miakis can do just that! She casts the spell again, taking care not to blow the curtain open.]

Feeling better...?

[Ken raids Nagi's room and manages to find some loose pajamas. He figures Nagi won't wanna get dressed after that.]

This town is seriously fucked up.

[The extra healing helps, but he's still going to have some ugly wounds on his chest for a bit. After about 20 minutes in the cool water, Nagi lets himself out, very carefully dries off, bandages the worst of the chemical burns, and changes into the pajamas. He doesn't know how many times Miakis can heal him in a short period of time.]

This town is almost worse than Rosenkreuz.

[Miakis doesn't know what Rosenkreuz is, but she understands the implication.] Worse than Nether Gate, too, I'll bet...

Ah, and I have a few more spells left in me, if you still need 'em. [She's already beginning to look a little tired, but she's not about to let that stop her. Poor Nagi. ;;]

[He feels really bad for Nagi. Burning of any kind was a nasty shock to the system. Poor little guy.]

Yeah, just let her know, ok? No suffering in silence or anythin' like that.
