From Canada

Friday: Left later than expected, drove 10hrs. to the destination, made it, made camp, ate, slept second. Overall, a very loud experience because the Palomponangons are pretty damned loud when in a small, enclosed area.

Saturday: Woke up first, took advantage of the clean shower, came back, ate breakfast, played badminton/ volleyball barefoot with some kids around my age, was insulted by them [them being the Canadians making jokes about the U.S.], left after lunch to some winery, met MB kin [some guy who was cheated out of Drum Major], came back, did the usual, played badminton in the dark with some guy and his younger brother, found out later that he was my cousin on my grandpa's side [surprise], made some women laugh, went to sleep.

Sunday: Woke up second, went to the other shower, ate breakfast, took group pictures, milled around, took down camp, packed up, drove away, got stopped at customs for bringing 12 too many bottles of wine over the border, paid the duty [Revolutionary War, much?], took a pit stop, got in trouble for talking to a stranger, spent a lot of money on Tax-Free stuff [which kind of defeats the original purpose of paying less], hung out at a really happy McDonald's in northern Pennsylvania, drove home, arrived at 12am, fell asleep.

Overall: A better camping trip compared to last year's. Had more fun, was more social, joy.
Came home to: A living [slightly miffed] Genghis Khan, Chinese Lantern sprouts.
