Baking would have been my first thought. Aside from that... it's hard to say. It would rather depend on the nature of the person you are seeking to thank.

Hm. Is there any way you could get one from the library, or are you still too unwell to leave your home?

I suppose on their approachability, their interests... something along those lines.
