Shamelessly pretending I am allowed to bring forward a suggestion for more Ita/Shi
So, well. Seeing that the year is already approaching its end with fast steps (don't laugh, it's almost the end of september, and that means christmas and stuff will come soon, and if I don't start to buy presents now I will never find anything in time) an idea crossed my mind.
I have no idea whether Advent Calendars have a great tradition where you live or not, but here in Germany they sure do, and I thought, "Hey, wouldn't it be cool to do a Ita/Shi advent calendar"? Everyone in this fandom who likes to could contribute something (a story, some fanart, whatever), and send it to whomever in charge who agrees to this (and I really hope they do) and then they could "open a door" every day from the 1st of December by posting a piece of work...
how does that sound to you? (And now I'll run and hide and hope no one throws tomatoes or something else at me)

Do I have to sign up to send something?
If you want to send something in, just tell us so by commenting this post- I'll make a list of anyone who is participating. I don't mind if you send something in without having signed up, just because you felt like it and suddenly got a cool idea, but it would be easier to plan everything if you told us. You can also send several work, of course :D
Can I choose on which day my work will be postet?
If you want your work posted on a specific date (e.g. if you want to have it posted the 20th of december because you want to have more time for working on it), please tell us so as well. I will edit your name into the list below, so you will also be able to check which dates are already "occupied".
What's the deadline for sending something in?
I'd say if you don't chose a particular day the deadline for sending something in is the 30th of november, so that we definitely have something to post on December 1st ^^ - and also so that we can decide in which order to arrange the rest of it. If you have picked a specific day - well, you'd only have to send it in a day or two before it's supposed to be posted, I guess.
To whom can I send it?
Well, to me, morena238 , either via private message here on LJ or via DocX Exchange on FFnet (search for Dustland-Fairytales).
What can I send in?
Honestly? Everything. And if I say anything I mean it. You can send oneshots, shortstories, drabbles, (not that I really knew the difference between all of them) or you can send fanarts, icons, wallpapers....crossword puzzles or quizzes (and then you would all see that I totally suck when it comes to actual facts about Itachi and Shisui) , you can take the lyrics of a christmas song or the text of a christmas poem and rewrite them so that they fit Ita/Shi ....anything really. It can be christmassy, but it doesn't have to be, it can be solemn, silly, sexy, cute....whatever you like. Be creative :D Because I know you can all do it- the awesomeness of this fandom is endless, after all xD!
Just one request: I know you are all still pretty drained from the incredible summer exchange, but please keep in mind that if we want this to work we need 24 "doors"! to open, so please help us! It would be really awkward not be able to post something one day because we just don't have enough material.... :(
Also, don't be worried: you have at least 2 months to work on whatever you'd like to contribute (mind you, it doesn't have to be long or complicated!), maybe even more of you sign up for a specific day - that is a lot of time, actually, pleaaaaaaaaaaase don't let us hanging (Oh, I so totally suck at motivating people....I mean, I usually can't even motivate myself to learn for university, so how can I be so foolish to hope this will work?)
