Yup. That was my way of, uh, "justifying" Kabuto's place in the story. Wow, it worked so well people didn't even notice it orz

B-BUT I'VE BEEN SO DISCREET. Yeah, not really. At least I'm pretty sure not too many people will actually read this fic, so my fail will not become to widely known. Incidentally, which fic did you think I'd written? And, um, "weird summary"? :|

Someone's always in bad health in my stories. I wonder what that says about me. LOL, Greater Good what Greater Good? I'm sure he believed what he was doing was for the best, but the bottom line is that he's creepy motherfucker who followed an obsession to its logical conclusion.

O U ♥

But Itachi does love Shisui! Definitely did when he "killed" him, possibly still does now. But does Shisui love Itachi? I think love isn't the word we want to be using here.

Shisui has a lot of Gatsby here, if Gatsby were slightly evil instead of desperately tragic-- he seems to me obsessed with the past: the rosy time where he was sure he and Itachi loved each other, and as soon as he finally obtains the object of his affection it can't possibly live up to the ideal in his mind. It doesn't matter how Itachi feels (and imho, it's obvious; he even says it a few times) because Shisui is not going to believe him. Idealized nostalgia trumps reality :/

of course, that analogy explains nothing if you haven't read the great gatsby, so sorry if that's the case! :S

Ohoho yes. Such a bastard, isn't he? ♥

Don't lie. This fic contains not even a toenail-sized amount of greatness as that other story. It's just laughable how ridiculous this premise it, I feel like such a fail. But thanks anyway, bb.

Loyal? Well, he faked his own death on his father's order to frame Itachi for murder, but I don't think he was all that fond of the clan -- he was good at faking it, though. Shisui's characterization in this fic can be summed up as: Charming Sociopath With a Grudge XD Not the nicest or most likable I've written him, but he's my favorite yet. Good guys are nice and all, but I love me a Byronic hero. I think I'll keep him ♥

I made up them seals, but hey, they sound like they could be canon. It'll be a cold day in Hell before I manage to write a fic where they're, you know, acting like real ninjas.
