Notice Of Demolition/Laters

I had my assistant write me an amazing exit post, but no dice: he claims that LiveJournal ate it. Can't believe a word that demon says. In the end, I guess anything worth doing is worth doing yourself.

Here's the announcement: I'm out, Boston. I'm out, Theatrical Muse. I'm out. By the time you read this, the apartment will be Oz's, the bots will be in storage, and Warren and I will be on the road.

Yes, that's right. Bear Mr. Warren Meers and I are moving out, moving up, moving on. I got a promotion and as a bonus, they're giving me a paid sabbatical. We're going to spend the first part of it re-enacting all of the shittiest buddy movies you've ever seen. No, I'm not being transferred: I'm moving away. As where I'll be based is work-related, I can't give any of you (aside from the lovely Kara Keating) any forwarding information, but there is a good chance that I'll get electronic mail and/or text messages at the Mall Of America Interdimensional Portal Depot. Unless you are my brother, in which case I will probably never get your e-mails, ever.

If you think it's something you said that drove me out of town, you're wrong. I've just gotta go.

OOC: After almost two years of writing in Theatrical Muse, I'm dropping Tucker Wells. There's no drama or anything (for once), I'm just not interested in writing prompts, playing in major/minor plotlines, checking his friends list, or writing fic. I'm still around and maybe I'll drop in for random comments, but for all intents and purposes, I'm leaving TM (in specific) and dropping Tucker (in general). Many thanks to the many people I've written with over the years, especially Kara's writer and Warren's writer -- two people who greatly improved the Internet for me as well as my real life, and whom I count among my favorite people and closest friends. The Buffy/Angel writers (and all related or tangential: Alan Shore, I'm looking at you) have been a hilariously fun, seriously vexing and often humbling group of people to interact with. Thank you all so much for sucking up so much of my attention span and keeping me entertained. Srsly, I checked Tucker's flist more often than I checked my own for most of the last two years. Best of luck, everyone.

(I think I'll miss you most of all.)

meta, adios motherfuckers
