Joshua 1:9 -- Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."
That right there should give you a joy and strengthen you.
When Scott talked about all that tonight, it made me think, a whole lot about everything I've went through.
And then Scott made another point, He was like be happy that you go through trials. Look at Job. Job 1:1 -- In the land of Uz there lived a man whose name was Job. This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil. . . The bible called Job a blameless and upright man. You know what .. God allowed the Devil to test Job. God was more or less bragging on Job, because he was so faithful to God. When God allows you to go through somethin', be strong, don't go around moanin' and groanin, and complainin. He must feel as if you're ready to go through with these trials and test. But you have to remain strong, and continue to press forward. God said He would never leave you nor forsake you. He's the God of the Storm and the God of the Quiet. He's everywhere you Go. He never leaves you. When you enter those doors tomorrow for your first day of HighSchool, Be a HISTORY MAKER, go in there with your head held high, and no worries or fears. All you have to do is whisper the name .. JESUS, and he's right there.
I love you dearly, and I think the world of you. You're truly one of my best friends. I see you doing great things for PHS, and the people that are there. Be a light, that shines in those dark areas of the lives of others, reach out as much as you can, and make the most of every minute, and use every minute you can, to talk about God, and 3rd Wave, and church, and just be a FIREBALL for the LORD.
Well, I think I'm going to leave you with some comments, this is already a very long comment, but I think it'll be well worth it, when you read it.
