great weekend
On our way up to 7V, I wasn't sure I'd be in the mood to LARP. I've been doing a lot of writing lately, and while that is cool, that means all my floon is writing-oriented and I was feeling reluctant to endanger the ideas that were flowing fast and furious.
But it really didn't take long for my brain to snap into place as Ursula. It just took a bunch of Fallen to snatch Jozef. Did you know it takes 3 grown men to hold me back from rampaging? ;) And if it weren't for Luchetti, I can't guarantee that they would have succeeded in holding me back! It was great to wake up to seeing Idri sitting above me. "If you move, I'll kill you," she said! You all think she is SO NICE, but you do not want to mess with Idriante Della Vedova!!!
There was a lot of craziness and unexpected-ness, such as getting tagged to do deep mastery of Courage (wait... we're getting TESTED? TONIGHT???!!!! I thought we were just having a nice little conversation!) and having to do my backlash ritual sooner rather than later and finalizing said design with a Fallen Caelia. Oh, and throwing a party and summoning Artemisia in the MIDDLE of the Dietrich fight... Also, lots of good talk and understanding of the sky veil ritual with Ashling -- COOL! I got to make a Virtue bomb! It was fantastic and helped us push out of the building when the Fallen came. And who could forget the totally awesome phys-challenge mod that John Mangio set up. I LOVED being on a mod with our entire team. We work exceedingly well together. And Violet is the bomb, if you didn't already know. And Aegir isn't an asshole after all ;) The Homecoming was very fun and cool!
It did mean that I totally missed out on doing the prep-the-acorn-ritual to use on the Laughing Captain, but I had to use up my skill on Demerath anyway. Still, sorry I stressed out at you, aumshantih. Can we do that first thing on the Friday of next event? I swear I'll have it together then!
And my writing floon was NOT perturbed. Nice!!
