Nino stood by the wall of the cafeteria waiting. Sho told him to wait as the cafeteria lady gives him his meal and drink. When he sees that Sho got his meal, he turned and walked out first. Sho catches up, almost spilling his drink as they head up towards the place where they first met, first fought, told each other stories and such. It was their secret place.
Sho sat by against the railing with Nino's head on his lap. They both ate in silence with Sho occasionally leaving crumbs of bread on Nino's forehead and cheeks. Nino complains and pinches his leg as revenge. They both shared laughters until they were both finished with their meal. Sho broke the silence when Nino was about to drift off to sleep to wait for the bell to ring and because Sho was running his fingers through his hair.
"Kazu," Sho pokes at Nino's cheek to catch attention. Nino flutters his eyes open and hums as response.
"You know what? I've been doing a lot of thinking since I met you after that incident of me crying here because I was heartbroken."
"Ah, I remember that. You were crying because that Karako girl was leaving for Hungary right? Okay, go on."
"Well, it sounds weird because it's inappropriate and it's the first time. I tried denying it but I couldn't. I can't seem to let go."
"Why's that?"
"I've fallen for a guy."Nino laughs and Sho gives him a glare.
"Don't laugh! It isn't funny!" Nino sighs, fiddling with the first 2 buttons on top of Sho's polo. He removes them because Sho seemed to start glistening with sweat from the heat of the sun. Sho blushes from that movement but didn't push him away. When Sho was to continue, Nino beats him into it.
"Isn't it normal to love? You can't control it since it's a powerful thing. Don't deny it 'cause you're only hurting yourself, Sho-chan." Sho drops his chin and with that movement he meets Nino's eyes. Nino smiles at him. "Wait, you have to tell me who it is. Is it someone I know?"
Sho blushes and nods. Nino tries to guess. "Aiba-chan?"
"No! He's my best friend! He's dating Jun, remember?"
"Sorry. Jaa, Oh-chan? Yokoyama-kun? Toma-chan? Yamapi?"
"Not, Satoshi. No, no and no." Nino sighs in frustration and defeat, throwing his arms in the air almost hitting Sho's jaw. Sho dodged and his face turned serious. Nino stands up and leans on the metal railing, the wind blowing his bangs away. Sho stands and goes to Nino's side. "Tell me already. I give up."
"I guess so. I've really tried to give up on him, Nino but I can't. I keep falling harder and harder. He was the one that pushed those pains away from me, the one that beamed me that smile that drowns all my depression away. I never thought I could find someone to love more than Gabriella Karako but I was wrong. I did find someone." Sho looks at Nino's direction and finds him looking at him. He blushes and leans closer to where Nino was their faces centimetres apart. Nino blushes as well. "You."
"It's you, you healed my broken heart. I love you, Kazunari." Sho leans in, their foreheads touching. They both smile. Nino smacks his head with a laugh.
"Baka, you have no idea I've been waiting for this. I thought of giving up on you as well when I heard you liked girls more than boys so I tried ignoring it so that it won't ruin our friendship but I just couldn't." Sho pulls away and wraps his arms around Nino, who returned the embrace."I love you so much, Sho-chan."
"Problem solved, then?"
"Not quite," Sho gives him a confused look after looking Nino in the eyes. Nino rolls his eyes and pulls Sho's neck forward until their lips met. Sho, surprised gave in pulled closer.
