October is the month where our three ladies have their birthday running consecutively. This year, we had initially wanted to do something extraordinary like staying over at a hotel, However, as all of us were tied up with work and family, we abandoned the plan. Nonetheless, we still had our annual dinner celebration. Our dear Carol had chosen the venue and went the extra miles to make the evening special and memorable.
Our birthday ladies with the birthday balloons.
Good old Carol had brought the balloons all the way to work, then to the dinner venue just to give them the surprise. Not only that, she had ordered the very popular Lychee Martini cake from Pine Garden and went to collect it during lunch time. I must say she is one person I can always count on who will go the extra mile just to bring a smile on a friend's face.
Just as we went so touched by her gestures, she was complaining that we were so terrible that none of us actually brought a camera during her birthday celebration last month. *Oops! Of couse we had to make it up by taking as many photos with her as possible.
Oh, and we were supposed to wear something green as instructed by the event organiser. "P
It was a relaxed and happy dinner. The birthday trio were obviously delighted to be showered with all the little surprises. Judy also brought her eldest daughter, Vanessa along.
All of us.
The yummylicious cake and our main course.
The ladies have to make sure that each of them only blow one candle out. First was Soo Lee's turn, followed by Yim.
Followed by Yim
Ooops, the second candle flickered back to life! It's such a great feeling to see such happy faces.
To my dear friends, may you be blessed with abundance of joy and good health and may we have many many more of such happy get-togethers.
