I love nice cafe and Food for Thought is one place that I have always wanted to visit. I finally got the chance this September holiday when Seong managed to have some time off and we could have a lazy weekday morning with the kids. No classes, no work, how nice!
It's one cafe that gives you the good vibes especially when you know it's set up with a grand purpose. I read somewhere that Food for thought was founded by three young ladies and a guy with a passion for the underprivileged. One of the first causes they are supporting is to raise funds for the provision of clean water to third world countries. We went there on a Tuesday morning and it was pretty quiet. We had a very pleasant time in this homey cafe, savouring the sumptious set breakfast and yummy scones.
Hanging from the ceiling are empty pasta jars, some of which are used to hold the bulbs, a very creative recycling effort, i thought.
