October Babes Birthday Dinner
Like past year, we had a celebration on October for the three ladies whose birthdays run consecutively on the 10th, 11th and 12th October. Thanks to Vincent (as Judy puts it), we decided on this cool venue District 10 BIstro. This is located at the old Monk's Hill Secondary School along quiet Windstedt Road, off Bukit Timah. I felt in love with the place the moment I stepped into it, the laid back ambience and charming decor makes it an ideal chill out place to catch up with friends or to even for a simple family outing. I am sure I will come back to it again and again! The food was great too! I had the world best chilli crab pizza, yum!

We stuffed ourselves silly sharing pizza, ciabatta sandwiches, lemon sole, baby back ribs, the sinful roasted pork belly, foie gras etc. Many of the dishes were given a generous portion of rocket leaves on the side which is my favourite salad green. We also had a bottle of our favourite Moscato d'Asti. By the time we had our dessert (which we kinda over ordered), we were really filled to our throat! :p

As Seong had to attend his colleague's farewell party on the same evening too, I got small yiyi to babysit the girls. She actually brought the two older girls to watch the movie -Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, together with big yiyi's family. For the two girls, they thoroughly enjoyed themselves, so much so that they asked me when is the next time I will go out and have such a treat for them again! **faint** "D
