Because I seriously need a pick-me-up, and this is my honorary Jrock month, here's the first of a bombardment of jrock pv's for the rest of the month - starting with something fun from my introductory Jrock Band.
One of the many awesome aspects to L'arc en Ciel is the fact that, every so often they come out with a pv that showcases their brand of silliness.
Stay Away was one of the first L'arc en Ciel videos I saw, fell in love with it right away. There so so, so many random things in this video, which makes it extreamly fun to watch when you just need something that you can look at and appreciate for the silliness aside from any kind of point it may have (if it does actually have one).

This is just, such a fun video. How can you not like it? You have the guys in 1960's Beatle-esq styles, random pop-locking, random 'dance movies' a-la Tetsu and Ken,
then you have the random people in suits sitting freakishly still in static positions with the most weirdest stone-faces ever - and then they seam to multiply randomly, coming out of rooms (where you hardly noticed they were even in their in the first place), elevators, - and then they walk around as if they've been possessed to their destination at the end of the pv.......
man, i wonder how hard it was to just sit there not moving for so long, some of those shots are long shots.... especially to such a fun song!
I love Hyde's "swaying to the beat" thing he has going on in this pv.
and ... random leg extension flexibility show from Yukihiro.... which, damn that's pretty good range right there
the random "sky room" and "square" room
what's with the donkey..or whatever...with the .."stuff" coming out of the nose - an into a tea cup no less? Really guys, was that necessary?
But then, the ultimate, Hands done the best part of the video ....
the dancing at the end - who would had expected that? lol but then, why are they dancing on a random indoor tennis court layout?
It's even more amusing when you realize that it's not really them dancing. So not only do they have silliness- they psyche everyone out!
The one thing that is a tad annoying though - is that annoying ass buzzing at the very beginning. I'm pretty sure that when you press a button on an elevator, it doesnt make noise.... I wonder if the letters actually signify anything. As, ya know it's L'arc en Ciel, sometimes you can never be to sure....
But, no mater what, I love this pv, puts a smile on my face every time I see it.
I should really look up the lyrics sometime.....
