Thinking Back on 2011 - of sorts......
Hm. The design change in regards to how comments are posted (choosing your icon by actually seeing the full icon instead of relying on its name, for one) - are quite nice. Noticed those a couple of weeks ago.

Ah, the last day of the year.
The last day of yet another mediocre year. Though, it was a tad bit better than last year, but not much, and most of the better things that happened didn't happen until the second half of the year.
Let's see now (listed has it comes to me):
Oh yea, Star Wars Galaxies came out on the 20th - of course I have no way of playing it, but I ended up buying it (on launch day) - for someone else. :(
So, my year isn't really ending so well - I caught a fever during my trip to Disneyland, (which died yesterday so I'm not really sick anymore, just some sniffles/stuffy nose), I'm jobless, I'm not doing anything since who I usually spend the new years eve with - they aren't in the country, I got my monthly today, and... well, I saw that Square Enix had a position open that I actually qualify for - and it would be a great position to gain - seams very fun and challenging, and would be a great win for me to land - however, I haven't heard anything yet from them; if they are going through a staffing agency, I don't know if I somehow screwed that up or what since I contacted the agency (to make sure their listing they have - very similar to the one SE had on their site, wasn't' for the exact same position)..... I just really want that position; at the very least, an interview. :/ Sooner, rather than later.
Well, how to ring-in the new year..... I guess I'll either be playing Crisis Core, Dissidia, or I'll watch that YFC concert that I have yet to actually watch......

- Had some actual money for a little while
- Finally got a PSP : finally my chance to play through Crisis Core and Dissidia
- Got to be at E3 - not too much came from it though so it was a bit underwhelming, as far as my experience working it goes
- Met Reuben Landgon - though I wish that I had more time to chill and talk with the man - but how stupid am I - I forgot to bring DMC3 with me to get signed!! :(
- AM2 - Got my hobby back - and how fun that was! Worked and hung out with Sadie, MVC3 battle goodness, Bayonetta goodness: worked hard and played hard
- Got my 戦国BASARA Sanada Yukimura glasses - haha total indulgence (but still rather useful) buy, which was nice to have been able to do
- Saw Miyavi - first concert in years!!
- Saw D - but this had some disappointments: as it was connected to PMX, and as I didn't' staff it means I fully attended a convention for the very first time / sound was horrible and drowned out Asagi's voice at times - which should just be illegal.
- Won $20 from a lotto scratcher - hahaha
- Lost my phone, which was incredibly upsetting to me, so I entered into the "realm of smart phones" via an android - which actually became incredibly, incredibly helpful in those first two weeks after loosing my job (also got my rebate on the phone about 4 days ago!)
- Oh, lost $175 dollars to a company I was set to be employed under - shady fucks. The blame is partly mine though - I should had seen through the lines and listened to my intuitiion - gut feeling. Fucking hell. (and I could really use that money right now too!)
- Went to Disneyland three days ago (and didn't' have to pay for my way in) - first time in years, if ever, that I've been to Disneyland during Christmas time. Though, as I didn't get to ride anything it wasn't all that enjoyable. Then again, The point of the Disneyland trip was to support someone else so.....)
- I am on staff for Sakura Con 2012 not in an ideal department, unfortunately, but, it will be a new experience so, it will be fine for now
- Ah, so through Netflix I started watching Stargate Atlantis - and I'm rather hooked on the show. Originally started watching it for Jason Momoa but......
- Saw Bunraku!! - though I missed seeing it in theaters: I really wanted to see it on a real big screen in a real theater rather than at a convention with fangirls around - which was annoying
- Saw Lion King in 3D!! It's only the best animated Disney Movie ever to be made - and part of the last bunches of quality "Disney Classics" (cuz with exception to Mulan, Brother Bear, and the Princess and the Frog, everything after about '96 was under-quality and offensive to the legacy of the "numbered" animated films).
