They've cultivated a strangely close friendship. She's a mellow influence on him, and he makes it easier for her to be relaxed. They go girl-watching together sometimes, but more often, they just go for a drive and chill out. Trying to get him to read more, so far, isn't working.

We'll get this out of the way first thing: Abby is in love with her. She's been doing her best to get over that, but it's going slowly. Aside from that, though, they're able to talk about almost anything, and it does Abby good to be able to gossip a little with a girl sometimes.

Scor is Abby's beam of sunshine. He's easily able to cheer her up when she's down, and he unlocks the goofy side of her, often with messy results, usually involving paint and laughing until they're in tears. Not to say that they're never able to be serious. She trusts him with basically anything.
