Re: At the Week's/Wits End

Things have been going less than joyful this week, they have down right sucked. Work is decent enough, just getting inundated with all the new work that is sliding across my desk and people wanting the finished project like "now". I don't think I've mentioned it, but I work at the architecture & engineering dept for the county handling all the plans, hard copies & electronic. It sounds simple enough, except the last person in my place refused to physically handle any plans (creating HUGE piles) and the person before her had this mystical way of scanning & filing electronic plans that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, and now that she is gone, and failed to mention her filing system to anyone, I'm up a creek so to say. So besides being busy at work, things at home are less than happy and this week I've been a complete stress ball, which Joe hates because he's a virtually stress free individual, but I have a habit of carrying people's stress for them. What can I say it's a gift ;p
Hopefully this weekend will bring some relief to this hellish week, and next week we will get some good news.
