Unimpressive
I was curious about some of the Akatsuki guys, so I'm watching some of the Naruto Shippuden episodes. I've just started, so it's the Gaara vs. Deidara fight. Really, I only have 3 things to or comment on after watching the episodes 2-5:
1. This Deidara guy is lame. Or, maybe he's not lame, but he's playing around too much. I'm sure this Gaara guy is tough, I keep hearing how the Akatsuki members are so strong, and how they've killed whole clans and other leaders, but he seems to have trouble taking out 1 teenager. Experience trumps brute force, but you can't tell from this fight....
2. What's up with this Sasori-daana guy? You can't see what he really looks like, but from what I've seen so far, he doesn't look like this here on LJ. Is he really a hunchback? Or is this a different person
3. Again about Deidara. The exploding art was pretty cool, but why insects and animals? And while the hands are kinda weird, after dealing with the Fish and Baby, it didn't freak me out like it probably should have. What did freak me was him losing an arm and grinning about it. Weird shit.
I hope that the rest of the fights against the Akatsuki go better than this. After that lame fight, if Gaara doesn't win, he deserves to get his ass captured.
Edit: Is it really that big of a deal? And since when is commenting equal to joining a fight?
