(no subject)
This weekend has been rather interesting, to say the least.
I am currently up in the north with Havoc, somehow still shivering in three layers of clothing. I've been having bouts of nausea kick me around all during today, so Jean has restricted me to only to lay and/or sit around. But I did make breakfast, though. Although the smell of pancake batter was enough to make me dizzy and lightheaded. So far, all we have done is played around in the snow with Hayate, read the newspaper, go on my laptop and look at things, sleep, and talk. It's nice to get away from the norm, and having the only source of heat be the fireplace in the family room.
We had an extreme blizzard give us a good foot and a half of snow this afternoon, and it's still going outside now. My car has a thick sheet of ice over the windshield, and Havoc is trying to think of a way to get it off without scratching or breaking the windshield underneath.
Honestly, I don't think we will be in work tomorrow. Havoc was told by a local that it isn't safe to go out and drive back home in this sort of weather. So maybe tomorrow morning, things will clear up. But for now, I'll enjoy being snowed in with my fiancé.
..I really want some coffee right now. Coffee, with some water to cool it down, and nothing else. I can literally feel the bitter sting in my mouth. Maybe it can warm myself up a bit more..
Maybe I can ask Jean to make it for me, the smell makes nauseous.
On second thought, I'll find a substitute that won't make me gag.
