(no subject)
So I got around to showing Jean some songs I put together to be played at our wedding.. Which, is on the twenty-eighth, in case you did not get your invitations yet. I showed him my favorite song, called ‘Your Guardian Angel’ by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. It has an acoustic tune to it, and it’s nice and mellow.
And, I literally swear by every word everyday. Jean is slowly becoming more and more comfortable with the fact that it doesn’t come easy to me with things that I truly mean to say. Anyhow, so I play him this song. Towards the end of it, I hear him begin to sniffle, his head directed towards the floor.
Did I actually choose a song that triggered his emotions..?
Hm.
Maybe I’ll share the song with a few people, and see if it touches anyone else, too. Because the song also hit me deeply when I first heard it in my car during the summer while Jean was still stuck on his stay in Northern Headquarters.
But, yes. Back to packing and preparing to come back home.
