Long story short? I am now officially living in a cute little apartment in Westwood (Glenrock and Ophir) with 3 other lovely lil jewish girls. Speicifically I'm living in one of the rooms with my buddy Becky...at $525/month, this is no picnic, but I'm jazzed about the new adventure!
I'll also be babysitting every week and making just enough to survive. Viva la vie boheme, eh? :) Things are crazy, but cool around here. I'm nearly done with an internship in downtown LA, then its off to London for one crazy week of good times and Jewishness. We'll see how it goes :)
I'm really not looking forward to school, though. I hate those horridly insipid people and their brutally shallow lives. Here I am, almost about to graduate and thinking about career options (ergh...would anyone like fries with their faxes?) and they're partying the night away and being uber concerned with their little svelt bodies.
Ok, enough. I'm really jazzed about the apt and the roomates. We even have a little tiny balcony in our room! Yay.
Enough for now...except this: I'm taking this class next year on Italian novellas...I'm intrigued as hell. From Boccacio to Basile. Or something like that. Hopefully the Prof won't be too bad...Novellas are always a good time. Hey Cri, did you ever have Tuttle? :)
