[Iiiit's Moro again! This time slipping into town to go to the shops. She's starting to fill back out, but she's still pretty unnaturally thin. So, fellow shoppers, Moro has joined in, locating a decent source of meat and devouring as much as she can

[has totally been hunting for Moro all this time but probably hasn't been able to take down much big game, in the still-rather-winter forest. San is just here to glare at people now.]

[Moro has held out for two weeks on only forest game, but at this point, she just can't survive like that. So she came here to take advantage of the resources.

It deals a blow to pride :/]

[stealing food from the humans while they watch helplessly isn't a blow to the pride at all!]

[That's true, too, and the fact that Moro is regaining her strength much more swiftly now that two weeks have passed is helping, as well.]

[Don't mind San for now, she's eating her fill as well]

[Once she eats her fill, she grabs a mouthful of meat, turning to carry it back to the den.]

Come. We must save our strength. We will go into battle and we must be prepared.

[San picks up some meat of her own, but she's looking at Moro a little wide-eyed]

Their human war?

The war beyond the barrier.

Slaughtering their enemies will warrant us an opportunity to observe what lies beyond.

I will not fight beside them.

[that's not to say she won't join the fight, however]

[Moro chuckles, smirking around the meat in her mouth.]

Of course not. Should the opportunity present itself, I will kill them as well.

I will need a larger weapon. [her knife is most useful when she can surprise people and that doesn't happen much in this kind of battle]

My broken fangs should still be on the ground at our shelter. Perhaps you could fashion something from them.

[she just nods. Yes, she certainly could do that. A spear made from a wolf god's fang would be pretty unstoppable]

...There will likely be foes that can take to the air.

Not larger than you, mother.

No. Smaller and swifter. Be prepared to hunt for such foes as well as those who travel on the earth.
