[and it's a tactic that ends in dinner, if she recalls correctly. But still. This is good. When they were in the village together the humans showed no fear at all. They need to see this]

[Moro's had her fill, of course, but this deer is for San of course.

She didn't truly care what happened her to herself - she was already dead, after all. But with San here, she needed to re-establish her strength.]

[San will come down from the tree when it looks like Moro is almost finished. She's clearly been in a scuffle with something, bearing a few scrapes but nothing serious]

[She expected as much. Once she finds an ideal place to stop to feed, she drops the deer for San to feed from.]

We must be mindful of what we consume. The game is small and weak.
