[If anyone wants to look for Moro by following her tracks, you may notice her strutting a little more confidently, even going so far as to casually walk through the village, nearly daring for a human to pick a fight.

The reason?  It may be due to the fact that San is now here.

At any rate, she's roaming quite a bit, with a strange new confidence

[Treebeard usually will pass over humans (unless they really want to talk), but his own curiosity will get the better of him as he spots Moro in the woods. If a massive wolf going around silently is impressive, than a large tree-shaped person barely making any noise should be just as impressive. Since he smells like a tree, the first hint of his presence will probably be that Hooooom sound he makes as he comes upon Moro. And San, if she's there too.]

[Moro pauses as she notices the movement, actually, before she hears the sound.

She locates the source of the movement - a tree spirit?]

[A large wolf... in his forest. He's not encountered spirits, so there's only one creature this can be and that fills him with righteous anger.] Hoom haroom! Warg beast! Be gone from this forest!

[Unlike her encounters with humans showing such disrespect, Moro simply chuckles.]

Forgive me. But I am no simple beast, o spirit.

[Warg beasts talking is nothing new, but most wargs when faced with an ent are smart enough to turn tail and run.]

I am no spirit, Warg beast. What business do you have in this forest?

I am a guardian god stolen from my home forest. I am protecting this one as my surrogate.

[She must be speaking of the Valar, but they left this world ages ago.] Hroom... the Valar have not walked Middle Earth since the elder days. Who are you to claim godhood, Warg beast?

Moro, servant of the Forest Spirit - the god of life and death.

A simple foot soldier belonging to him is all I am.

[None of this sounds quite right to him.] You are not Yavanna. Hrooom... But perhaps you are not a Warg beast either. I am Treebeard.

We are in another world entirely. Perhaps that is the source of your confusion.

[People keep telling him this is Luceti, but he has yet to get all the details.]

Hooom... And are you an ally of the orcs. [Said in much the same disdain Moro would likely say the word human.]

Orcs? Do you mean the imps? No, my natural duty is to destroy them. It had turned to humans the moment they began ripping apart the forest, and demons were hard to sight after that.

[Treebeard has his own problems with dwarves and humans, though he does tolerate them. Clearcutting is not a common practice amongst his human neighbors.]

Hoom... Then I have no quarrel with you, young Moro guardian of the forest.

You must be a very old spirit to call me a pup! Though even gods like myself don't live as long as the trees when we are committed to war.

[It's more like he's just used to everyone being younger than him.] I have walked the forests of the world for many a life age. Of the living creatures who still walk Middle Earth, Hooom... I am eldest.

Then bless your soul, Treebeard. I hold you in high esteem.
