[Moro might find a golden monkey looking at her curiously from a distance. Mrs. Coulter is nowhere to be found.]

[She ignores the ape. No particular interest in them - they ran amok in her forest before. Their job was planting trees, and thus she had no reason to be concerned about a monkey.]

[aureatus]

[Well, this "ape" approaches Moro's position on the hill. It tilts its head. It may be too curious for its own good.]

[biteoffherhead]

[Again. You are a monkey. And therefore of no interest unless you start doing seriously obnoxious things.]

[aureatus]

[It's smart enough not to provoke her, but it draws even closer, and wait - is it speaking?]

You have wings.

[biteoffherhead]

...I do.

[Well. Talking monkeys, still not that surprising to her.]

[aureatus]

[It doesn't say anything else, but it does move to touch the said wings.]

[biteoffherhead]

[She ignores.]

[aureatus]

[The monkey takes this as a sign that Moro isn't dangerous unless provoked, and it darts out of her line of vision, only to come back wrapped around Mrs. Coulter's arms.]

[The scent of Mrs. Coulter, however, does prompt Moro to growl angrily.]

[She notices the difference in Moro's reaction to her and her daemon. The monkey whispers in her ear.]

I see you also aren't native to this world.

[biteoffherhead]

Away, disgusting human, or I'll crush you in my jaws.

[aureatus]

My, my. Someone has a temper.

[biteoffherhead]

Simply no patience for revolting creatures such as you.

Revolting? What have I ever done to deserve such an insult?
