Soul Energy: 3 - Opening the Door of Wrath

Jul 20, 2011 22:37

(Action; In front of 730 Anderson Lane; Mid-morning)
[If pressed, Yuri would admit he was curious about the packages given by the town. When they'd show up. What they'd give. That kind of thing. Last time he'd gotten one of the few mementos he had of his family, after all.]

[However this time all it contains is a small slip of paper, devoid of anything save the image of a simple crest. A bold, black marking on an otherwise-nondescript piece of paper.]

[To say Yuri realized what it even meant would be giving him too much credit. To that extent, he turned it over a few times, puzzling at it, eventually shrugging and putting it in his pocket.]

(Action; Park; Afternoon)
[Going about his normal "skipping work" routine, Yuri's taken to the park again. He's dozing lightly, if somewhat fitfully under a tree.]

[Mentally, however. There's a bit of... not quite turmoil, but a conflict by any other name. To those who can sense such a thing, it feels like there are two wills combating one another at Yuri's location. One is enormous, ancient and wrathful. The other, while far more diminutive, makes up for that shortcoming in sheer force. In the end, it is not even a fair contest: the larger of the two seems to rapidly lose more and more ground until, in the end, it is completely eradicated - it's very essence seems as though it is been drawn into the victor, further empowering it.]

[Without warning, Yuri jolts awake, eyes wide and gasping for air. He doesn't seem scared, rather, he looks to be amused. He slowly stands up, holding up a hand towards his face and looking at his palm.]

Heh. So that's what it was. Just like old times, ya damn squatter...

[Yuri balls his hand into a fist as he explodes into light, and when it fades he's been replaced by a ...something. It's big - easily over eight feet tall. It's also begun... shadowboxing? Not long after that, it preforms a few one-handed vertical push-ups. And after that, toe-touches...]

[There is now a large monstrosity preforming calisthenics - some generic, some flashy - in the park, Mayfield. What do?]

(Phone; unfiltered; Evening)
So... I heard we can trade in the stuff we've gotten back for different stuff. Is that right? Ain't had any interest in the post office or any of it's crap until now, so I'm asking the people who have messed around with that place.

action, amon, phone, obligatory regain post, rude tbh, giving no fucks, making a scene
