[ Falling girls? Oh, my.

Sebastian catches Kisa delicately and effortlessly, and, in fact, only looks pleasantly surprised when the girl is replaced with a tiger. How darling.

He holds her up at eye-level, his hands beneath her front legs, and smiles warmly. ]

Why, hello, my lady.

[ this cub is... rather surprised, not quite in the pleasant way, because to date, no one has yet to make the connection of girl and tiger and look so pleased about it.

... But there's also something warning her against biting him, so she tries for an intimidating sound.

It's kind of a mew as she dangles there.

[ Oh, Sebastian is so intimidated, you don't even know. He beams at her. ]

So fearsome you are, darling.

[ her bites really do hurt, honest. Both ears flick back, not quite pressed against her head, but she seems to be scrutinizing him warily. Is he making fun of her? ]

[ Only a little. His smile warms when she doesn't struggle further, and he gathers her gently into his arms, proceeding to scratch behind one of those adorable ears. ]

Such luxurious fur....

[ the other ear flicks again, but Kisa seems to have reluctantly resigned herself to her fate. It's obviously not such a bad one, as there's a low purr building.

WHICH IS ACTUALLY REALLY EMBARRASSING... ]

[ Sebastian seems pleased. He lets his fingers wander into the thick fur around her neck. ]

There, now. Nothing to worry about. You're in perfectly good hands, my dear.

[ with a small sigh, she balls up a little in his arms. Still a bit miserable, but he doesn't look as though he's going to run screaming. Have a furball, then. ]

[ Furballs are Sebastian's favourite. He pets her quite contentedly, turning her in his arms to try to sneak in some pets to her belly. ]

Why so unhappy?

[ because she's a twelve-year-old girl getting bellyrubs. She's not sure how to respond to that, since... really, what is talking when you're a tiger. All the time... ]

[ She talks. He pauses briefly, surprised, but after a moment, just smiles indulgently and goes on petting her. ]
