Seventeenth Bite || Video/Action forward-dated to tomorrow morning
[ the screen opens to what is... probably an odd-looking sight. There's an egg on a bed, rocking back and forth methodically, while a Pichu sits before it and tilts her head in that same rhythm. Kisa is presumably on her knees by the bed with her chin resting on her hands and her eyes fixed on the egg, and resting her GIGANTIC HEAD on her trainer's is an Arcanine. ]
Ah...!
[ the egg suddenly gives one final, massive quiver, and then a bone thrusts out of the shell, waving wildly around and accidentally smacking the Pichu in the nose. With a startled squeak, she darts over to Kisa, and springs all the way on top of Ari's head to cling there. The egg gets battered apart, bit of bit via bone-waving, until there's a newly-hatched Cubone sitting there.
... Kind of. It's still wearing the upper part of the shell on its head and it's making confused wailing noises until Kisa carefully reaches over to liberate it fully.
At which point, the Cubone latches onto her with a DEATH GRIP and starts bawling. ]
... Um... [ the little girl holds still, keeping the Cubone secure with one hand, and finally looks at the screen. ]
Ari... came back last night... and...
... I've never had one start crying... when it hatched before. I hope it isn't sick...
[ it's hiccuping now, but at least the sobbing isn't as pronounced. ]
