[ If you see this feed, you may be thinking "Wow, Staryu sure look pretty at night with their jewel all lit up like that!" or "How cute, a girl and her giant star" or maybe just
"WHY THE HELL IS THIS HUGE-ASS STAR NIGHTLIGHT CARTWHEELING INTO ILEX FOREST?!"
Because that is indeed what Hoshi the Staryu is doing. And that is why Kisa, who had originally intended just to ask the network if all Staryu were this active, is running after it with her typical Pokémon in tow and Ari the Growlithe baying like they're on some kind of fox hunt.
But that's not all that's going down. For you see, once the ragtag group enters the forest, your brave and fearless Gold of Korea's sentai squad (really, she still doesn't know how that happened) is going to realize that Hoshi's got an ability called Illuminate.
And Illuminate increases the wild Pokémon encounter by TWO HUNDRED PERCENT.
All you get on Kisa's end is a startled SQUEAK as suddenly she's mobbed by all sorts of lovely things like big-eyed owls, mushroom lobsters, furry bugs, bats, and the like. And there's the heroic sight of a Rattata and a Pidgey launching themselves into the fray shortly before the gear's knocked from Kisa's hand and the screen goes black. ]
