You did a great job with this chapter. You've introduced another woman into Booth's life in a way that is real and totally natural. He doesn't go looking for a relationship, he sort of falls into it (and isn't that how life goes so often?). He even has that moment of panic the first time that they make love that really made it feel realistic. He's trying to move on, but is still so anchored to Brennan. And in the end, by the time Olivia goes home, he's just so conflicted. Very nicely done.

I really liked his confusion and panic upon returning home and the way it dissipated in Parker's innocent hands. No matter what else is going on in his life, Booth has his son and that is such a grounding influence.

And I have to say, if we weren't going to see a romantic reunion, I like how you handled it so much better than what we saw in canon which, for me, was short and almost totally disappointing. This version of it was much more satisfying, so thank you for that.

So he's made a decision; I'm very curious as to what it is. Can't wait for the next chapter!

A compliment from you is always the highest form of praise, so for that I thank you. I'm really glad that Booth's emotional journey and conflict rang true to you.

I can't even begin to tell you how disappointed I was with the way they did it on the show. The hug was nice, and I can understand Booth's reticence, but.... really? He just jumps right into the whole "serious as a heart attack" douchebaggery? Um.... no.

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing! I'm always so anxious to hear your thoughts :D
