Ehhr. Anyway.
I slipped on a wet floor yesterday, landing on my hands and knees. Apparently I did something to my neck too O_o When I fell, my neck must've jolted super fast and... stuff. The chiropractor I saw today explained it intelligently. It doesn't help that the whiplash I got in January is considered a "fresh injury."
I didn't do any damage to joints/bone, but I did something to the muscle. Intense cardio is really hard on me at the moment (I felt like my legs were being pulled apart at the knees this morning) and lifting weights is out of the question. The most I can do with my hands right now is type if I'm careful. Finishing my shift yesterday and going into work today definitely stressed the injuries =/
Today I was dead set on not doing workman's compensation, and just using my insurance. It covers 100% of everything after my $10 copay for each appointment.
But eh... it just now dawned on me... that I have 26 visits. Even with good insurance, that's a total of $260 out of my pocket. Those 26 adjustments would be just a little more than enough to get me out of pain. I'll have none left for maintenance throughout the year.
That would be expensive and it would suck.
So it looks like I'll be going back on what I said today x_x Oh well.
Those are my adventures for today. ~_~
