Dear Yuletide Author,
Okay first things first, thank you so much for writing for me. I truly love each and every one of my requests and will be thrilled to have fic for any of these. I always have so much fun writing my Yuletide stories and I want you to have fun too. I am always of two minds about these letters torn between giving to much information and not enough. I am going to stick the the format I have used for that last few years. Basically what follows is basic background information on my fannish tastes. This gives my basic likes and hard limits. I will also talk about each of my requests and leave a totally optional prompt, you can highlight to read it otherwise just ignore it, and do your own awesome thing. Optional prompts are optional.
Things I like in fanfic (general)
I love to know why, they do it. I live to peep inside the minds of my favorite characters, to dig deep into their fractured psyches. It's the why that makes it sexy. I will never turn down sex or sensuality if it fits the story. I love dirty talk so if you can do it, yes please. I also love power dynamics sexual or otherwise so feel free to explore. My reading taste run to the mature aka explicit, dirty, wrong, but I can fall in love with a brilliant character study as well. I like the edge of sanity, pleasure, madness, danger, pain. If most people would think you've gone to far with the dark, dirty, violence of something, I'll probably think you got it just right. If you've ever wanted to unleash your deepest, darkest versions of these characters, go for it. Trust me when I say there is very little danger of offending me. Bret Easton Ellis is one of my favorite writers. I think that tells you how far you can go right there :) Now having said all that if this isn't who you are as a writer, that's okay. Be you and give your vision of these beautiful broken people to me, whatever it may be.
Things I don't like (general)
Mpreg, unless it's Alien Nation or Enemy Mine, then it doesn't work for me. Character bashing, just because you can. AU's, a mild plot divergence is fine, but for me the world the characters exist in is an essential part of them. No woobies, characters can be vulnerable and strong.
NightStalker (2005)- OMG I was so very angry when this show was cancelled. It had so much going for it but was stuck in a crappy time slot, so it never had a chance. I don't want to get off on a tangent, so let's talk Carl/Perri, these two had everything you need for a good/bad romance. Clearly there is an attraction between these two. The chemistry was amazing, not to mention the actors (Stuart Townsend and Gabrielle Union) are hot like fire. Yes, there is baggage but there is no doubt that these two love each other. I would love to see something hot, dirty,and sexy. That doesn't mean it needs to be explicit. I think getting into the characters' heads and the how and why of their attraction can be very hot. Clearly they are both holding back and fighting their attraction. I would love to see one of them tempting, teasing, pushing the other until they snap, in a good way. I could even see there being a bit of kinkiness in their encounters. If none of this is in your comfort zone don't worry I can be equally happy with witty banter and light-hearted sexy fun. The only thing I really do not want is some supernatural sex pollen, fuck or die sort of thing. I want them to want each other.

The Brotherhood- This movie is hot mess from top to bottom and I love every second of it. I'm pretty sure we can agree that Dan is so into Chris. Even DeCoteau(the director) admits this. Dan is pretty invested in Chris considering they've just met and Chris isn't a very good roommate. This could be set during or after the film, but I think Dan should get his man. This a fun movie but if you want to get more serious with Dan and Chris feel free. I love the idea of first time stories involving these two but an established relationship is fine. Super bonus points if Chris' red running shorts make an appearance.
Prompt: I wanna do bad things with you
Dangerous Liaisons- This has been one of my favorite movies since the first time i saw it, in theaters. Yeah that long, lol. I am utterly fascinated by the dynamic between Cecile and Valmont. I want to be inside Cecile's head to know how she really feels about Valmont and about everything that is happening to her. I think she likely has genuine feelings of both love and hate for this man, I'd love to see that conflict explored.
Prompt: I have a tale to tell about a girl whose soul was screwed/She was born into a life with everything to lose
