so things have been pretty good.
i'm working at salem house of pizza this summer, and that's great. it's a fun job, and the people are super nice. and i'm picking up bits and pieces of the greek language while I work. it's kinda cool. I just got my first pay check.. and by check i mean cash... yesterday. it was awesome. i hope ALL my "pay checks" are cash money under the table. no taxes at $8 an hour is pretty nice. this past week was my first week and I worked 32 hours. they want me to work around that much and up to 45 hours a week. i'm down. whatever keeps me busy and pays well, count me in.
i took this past saturday off, as it was my 20th birthday : ) on Friday Casey drove up and took me out to lunch at the macaroni grill. it was a lot of fun, and delicious! our waiter, i'm convinced, looked like a cute version of peewee herman. he was nice. and we got to draw on the table cloth, because thats how the macaroni grill rolls. oh and i LOVE the dippy bread. always good.
then saturday, on my actual birthday, my parents and i went out to Not Your Average Joes. i looooove that restaurant. now, talk about dippy bread. their's is the best. i always got friends season 4 and sex in the city season 1 from my parents, along with tickets to see RENT in Boston at the end of june. weeeeeeee!! haleigh and I are going to go and love every minute of it.
my brother gave me Bump in the Night on DVD for my birthday. i dont know if any of you remember that show, but it OWNED saturday morning cartoons. Mr. Bumpy anyone? COME ON!!!
so, i'm rollin' in the dough (figuratively and literally) this summer, but I'm still missing the Joey. I get to see him in a couple of weeks at the charlestown parade in boston. it's actually the bunker hill parade, but it's all the same. i'll be going with his familia, and it should be good.
oh yea, so saturday night amanda erin and I headed to Boston to Chris's apartment, and it was really cool. He lives right near where Nate used to live. on the same street, a few buildings down. so i was semi-familiar with the area. and we birthday bashed it up. very low key. it was fun though.
Wednesday Ms. Amanda and I are going to 6 flags new england!! wooooo!!! i'm getting us discount tickets from AAA tomorrow, and it's gonna be a blast. I can't wait! I didn't get to go to six flags or watercountry or any of that last summer. though I did get to tour the east coast of the US... hmm... I can't decide which is more fun... though I am fond of Roller Coasters.
alright, sorry for the super long update, but that happens when you don't write in a while. though, i am a little too cool from LJ... Joey got me a journal for my birthday, so I write to him in it every day. sorry internet, you're just a little over rated.
PEACE!
