Money sucks. Or rather, the lack of money sucks. I'll have money soon, just not right now, when I want and need it. I get paid on Wednesday, and on the same day my rent, water bill, and electric bill are due. Altogether about $400 more than my paycheck will be. It's a good thing that my cupboards are stocked. Mom's still going to help out, but I'm hating that. I was hoping to be back on my feet by now.

After that I'll have one more paycheck at NVS, that one will be available on the 20th, and will be just a little short due to appointments next week (parent teacher conferences, yuck). I'll be starting at CPS on the 17th, which is the first day of the pay period. The pay periods at NVS and CPS are exactly the same, the only difference is that CPS gets paid on the 10th and 25th instead of the 5th and the 20th. It really doesn't make sense to me, and it means that my November rent might be late, I'm not sure yet what's going to happen. Mom said she'll help me then too, but I really don't want her to have to by then. The check on the 25th is going to go for December rent, and I'll be all caught up by then, which will be cool. I'll also have the ability to start saving money for a washer and dryer. Yay!

I'll be opening a checking account at the end of October, once I get settled in a job and stuff, and after that I'm going to restart my Netflix account. I'm so behind on movies it's not even funny. Then in January I'm going to get a fat check from Uncle Sam. That should finish catching us all up, and might even get us to Disneyland in the summer. I can't wait.

money, job stuff, me, netflix
