Badge name: Rhea314
Current primary fandom(s): The Raven Cycle, All for the Game/Foxhole Court, Captive Prince, Free!, Think of England, Charm of Magpies, No. 6, Gundam Wing
Fandom(s) you have known and loved (and are still willing to talk about): Baccano!, MCR, Hikaru no Go, Agent Carter, Tokyo Babylon, Tsuritama, Tiger & Bunny, Mushi-Shi, Kino's Journey, The Curse Workers series, DCU (Batfamilly, Superman, Supergirl, Tim/Kon),
One fannish character you'd shag: Neal Caffrey
One fannish character you'd marry: Cordelia Vorkosigan
One fannish character you'd like to have a beer (or the non-alcoholic beverage of your choice) with: Blue Sargent
One fannish character you'd like to go on a roadtrip with: Blue Sargent
One fannish character you'd like to be stuck in an elevator with: Peggy Carter or Kara Danvers/Supergirl
One of your bulletproof kinks: literary trope wise, Fake Dating.
Best moment of your fannish life: Getting to visit amazing fan people in England, Germany, and France this last fall. An amazing trip that would not have been possible without fandom.
Any advice for first-time con-goers: Sleep is still important, sometimes you have to leave the room party even if it feels like you're missing out, in order to be functional the next day. Sadly, you can't actually do everything, but that's okay. Prioritizing, and self care, are both important.
Please complete the following sentence: "You'll be able to recognize me at the con because I will be the one..." With the very long hair, probably in a braid. In the "Monmouth Manufacturing" t-shirt trying to talk to everyone about my amazing book fandoms.

Redbubble is very handy, I did all the fannish design shop searching and the Monmouth shirt was my fav. It's basically one of my favorite things so I wear it all the time. I should probably buy a second one for how much I wear it, honestly.

^___^

It was my first major fandom, or the first time I was in a fandom and had fully realized what fandom was.

It's definitely on AO3 there are 3k posts out there, though a fair bit is folks posting older stories, but I think there is new stuff being generated, though I haven't really delved into it all that much. There are a couple of authors I've followed from other fandoms on AO3 to find out they've done a couple of things in GW which is nice. A lot of the kudos sorted fics have summaries that wouldn't be what I'm looking for, or are fics I've already read. So I drop in every once in a while and see what's newly posted. Occasionally I find something that I'm excited about, which is great, but I think I'm just want really particular things from this fandom now, or really, really good writing to sell me on the stuff I'm unsure of. I've read so much already I'm now specific (but unable to articulate precisely what I want beyond general 'my precious babies *grabby hands* and "well, it's not quite that")
Often scrolling through listings for GW leaves me 0.o but I may just be very persnickety about GW fic as a ye-old-fangirl from way back when, set in my ways (still OTP on pairings, but with shifted standards and expectations from broader fannish exposure) >.>

...just checking AO3 to verify the validity of my statements, I came across a fic tagged lemon, so somethings definitely haven't changes (early oughts anime fan culture lives!)...

Because apparently you can't edit comments once they've been replied to, also I'll be recognizable by the fact that I'll probably be wearing either a Superman sweater or a Supergirl sweatshirt 80% of the time.
