Visita Iglesia 2007
1. Mt. Carmel Church, Broadway St., New Manila, QC.
-basically a virtual marketplace but loved it to bits because my favorite fried lumpia and pinangat na laing are still available there.
2. Shrine of St. Therese, Gilmore Avenue, New Manila, QC.
-while only a stone's throw away, it was more solemn than Mt. Carmel.
3. Benedictine Abbey, Mendiola St., San Miguel, Manila
-San Beda's chapel, the front is a marketplace of the typical Recto streetfare (read: kwekkwek and fishballs).
4. San Vicente de Paul Church, San Marcelino St., Ermita, Manila
- German Club nostalgia anyone?
5. Nuestra Señora de Remedios, M.H. Del Pilar St., Malate, Manila
- It was very near Aristocrat where we had lunch.
6. Redemptorist Church, Roxas Boulevard, Parañaque City
- DVD Shopping. I bought an Asian Cinema 8-in-1 featuring 2046, Curse of the Golden Flower, Crouching Tiger and most of all, HERO. Namiss ko tuloy si Father Nick.
7. Shrine of the Sacred Heart, Kamagong St., San Antonio Village, Makati City
-nice new church with this weirdo raising his arms up in the air, and lowering his head on the floor near the altar.
Interesting mix of churches this year, not to mention very diverse! Too bad I forgot to bring my camera.
