(no subject)
Well, I was going to give my presentation for my Correctional Psych. class today, but before I was able to give it, the fire alarm went off in the building. Everyone exited the building (in a not so orderly fashion) and waited outside to return to the building......and waited and waited and waited. As I write this, we're still not not allowed in the building. It turns out they found a unidentified briefcase in the bathroom w/ white residue on it, and they think it's a bomb. I found out that I can give my presentation on on the day of the final, however, there are a lot of people I know who have all their stuff in the building, needed to get to to get the final review, or needed to turn something in and aren't quite so lucky. Oh well....I'm so glad classes are over (except for finals week that is). All my projects are done and I don't have anymore crap hanging over my head. I found out that i won't be able to get a private dorm for fall, so I'm not living on campus then. That means I can't put off learning to drive anymore. I'm taking my permit test Friday and getting a driving instructor afterward (I'll be able to get my license in eight days after that). The only problem is that I'll have to share the car with my sister for a while and I KNOW she's going to be a total bitch about letting me use it. Well, Mara, I know you're going to read this, so let me warn you now ; if you don't let me use the car when I need to, you'll pay......oh, how you'll pay. Though I'm a little annoyed at being uprooted, I'm excited to get away from the dorms. I won't have deal with room inspection, I'll be able decorate, I'll have more space, perhaps be able to get a pet ^_^. I can't wait.
