In the year
2006 I am looking to be taking driving lessons and passing my driving
test, purchasing a car and looking into getting a mortgage : ). I think
it's time to take sock of where I am in life and where I want to be, to
make sure I don't spend another four years of my life living day to day
rather than looking at the bigger picture.
So the first step is:
Find a new
job in retail, commit to the job and look into progressing with the
company (I don't think KFC is where I want to be when I'm 30).
Then, during my time in my new job I will start saving again with the credit union for driving lessons.
I'm going
to Boots today to see if they still have scales I can use to track my
weight loss properly. I jumped on the scales five minutes ago to find
that they tell me I'm 11st 1lb *grins*. Yesterday I started a 'Bills'
book. Just an A4 hardback notebook with details of my weekly income,
weekly outgoings and what's left over. This week I am poor. I have £40
to last me till friday next week for food and other things I might
need.
Work:
I've been
working six to seven days a week now for over a month to keep the bills
paid and trying to earn extra money for myself. When I sat down with
the bills book last night I realised I'm only £20 better off for
working a seven day week. It's not what I had expected, however it is
extra cash.
