Any one out there with experience running ethernet cables in office buildings.....what's the best way to install a line IN a wall that is a solid firewall? I'd rather not surface mount the jack on the wall.
A lot of time you aren't allowed to run it in wall if it's fire wall.
I do know it needs to be Plenum rated cable.
If your running it "through" (one side to the other), after cable is run the area around the cable needs to be sealed with plumbers putty or other related fireproof material.
