[when the Sphere turns on, as it is wont to do at the most inappropriate times, it shows...the Doctor fast asleep somewhere in the forest, his body lying in the mud where a fallen log used to be until it disappeared out from under him. he, however, is very much unconscious and unaware of the sudden loss of his resting place or of his favourite tie

Mud? Hmm, I thought the ground felt much softer... Did someone move me off my log? I was quite comfortable there.

A log doesn't sound very comfortable either!

No, not really, but! It's a little cleaner than the ground, though that doesn't matter now, I suppose...

[looks down at her own muddy feet]

Well, no. Could be slime or something equally as difficult to get out of my clothing...
