Wait, then.

[He's been watching the whole spectacle. Color him impressed, Doc.]

[looks up in surprise at the voice, inwardly scowling at his Sphere]

What? Sorry, wait for what?

[Imitates his voice, but keeps the deadpan tone and blank expression.] "It wouldn't be the first time something like this has started with nothing and later became something".

[Then back to normal.] Lie and wait for a new development, and act when it comes.

[arches an eyebrow] Well of course. There's not much that can be done but wait.

You're new here, aren't you? Probably haven't been subjected to many of this ship's waiting games then... I'm the Doctor.

[He can rival that.] You know my name?

bit_impossible May 23 2009, 11:39:33 UTC
Yes, but whether you share some relation to the one I know of remains to be seen.

We'll see. What is he?

[is intrigued that the young man said 'what' and not 'who', but he doesn't let that show.] Ohhh, you know, Norse god, son of Fárbauti and Laufey, etcetera, etcetera.

... Then it's impossible I'm the one you know.

I don't hold the rank of 'god'.

bit_impossible May 23 2009, 11:49:32 UTC
Well, I don't personally know him. Know of him, certainly!

But it's a pleasure to meet you nonetheless. [smiles] What rank do you hold then?

crossedassassin May 23 2009, 11:50:38 UTC
Captain of the Assassins. [He's withholding his other rank.]

bit_impossible May 23 2009, 11:54:30 UTC
Oh? And what exactly does that entail?

Reply

crossedassassin May 23 2009, 11:55:25 UTC
Exactly what it means- head of the Assassins.

[gives him a look that says "Well duh."] I meant duty-wise. And I'll have you know there's quite the difference between being the Captain and being the Head. Unless we're speaking in nautical terms then there is no Head--only the Captain. Well, the Captain would have a head, but wouldn't be the Head, although...I suppose he would be, wouldn't he?
