They're obviously trying to get all dark and edgy and stuff, which always sort of bothers me, but I'm definitely going to play it anyway.

And I didn't like the armor on Batman's costume or his voice and, well... My biggest hesitation is SOE. Why couldn't it be someone else?

I'm so completely tied to Kevin Conroy as Batman (which makes a lot of sense considering who I play but you know) that every time it isn't him, the Batman just seems... wrong.

I dunno, it's probably some weird licensing issue or something.

It doesn't have to be him, but the voice should be deeper than the one they had, IMHO.

I don't know; I just don't trust them. Not after the NGE and Vanguard and everything else.

It was just wrong. D: (I am, actually, assuming that was Bruce, but maybe it's not supposed to be? But I'd bet it's Bruce.)

It could have been awesome, but they released it before it was ready, then never promoted it or did expansions, but instead left it to languish. Not quite the utter betrayal of the NGE, but not really supporting their game, either.

I also wonder about that release date. Is directly competing with Cataclysm wise?

Yeah, ok, I think about this stuff too much.

Oh man I didn't even think that it might not be Bruce! But I feel like they wouldn't make Dick so bulky, and they probably wouldn't have someone other than Bruce in the roll because... I dunno, unless they're making some specific adaptation that relies on a certain legacy character they usually stick with the most well-known in the costume, you know?

I guess they think they'll have a reliable fanbase to buy it- all the DC people will go rush out and get the game no matter what else is going on. Or something.

Yeah, I figured it was likely Bruce since otherwise it might require explanation, but I'd be more comfortable with that voice being Dick's.

I just think that part of their market should be MMO fans in general and in that case... I mean, I play WoW, too.
